Full Time: 40 hours per week
Salary: Commensurate with skills and experience

ROLE: Works closely with the Development Director and other Development staff to meet an annual goal of over
$3 million annually. Responsible for increasing revenue for The Free Clinic through management of the Annual
Giving campaign and special events.

Qualifications:

Required: Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and have a minimum of two years
relevant experience. A background in fund development is preferred. Candidates must have demonstrated ability to
work efficiently and effectively to meet project or fundraising goals. Experience managing multiple projects is
essential. Excellent oral, written, analytical and organizational skills. A Masters degree in non-profit management
or other relevant disciplines and experience with a fund development database system is preferred.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

1) Annual Campaign: Manages all elements of the annual giving campaign, including direct mail, online giving,
gift clubs, campaign materials and stewardship. Identifies new strategies to grow the annual campaign. Is responsible
for securing Special Gifts to the annual campaign and for meeting a $200K+ goal. Oversees the employee workplace
campaign.

2) Special Events/Communications: Manages all Free Clinic sponsored fundraising events, and provides support
for volunteer led fundraising events. Responsible for developing a signature event and working with volunteers to
raise $100K annually. Develops and manages event budgets, secures vendors, solicits event sponsors and produces
event reports. Serves as staff liaison to The Free Clinic Associate Board and provides support for their fundraising
events as needed. Assists with writing short news articles for the clinic’s social media efforts.

3) Database Management and Gifts Processing: Manages the development donor database. Responsible for
maintaining and producing development reports. Oversees gift entry and gift acknowledgements processes.

4.) Other Duties: Work closely with Development Director to provide staff support to The Free Clinic Resource
Development committee charged with supporting the overall fund development activities of the Free Clinic. Works
independently to achieve the goals of this position. Promotes effective communication within and between
departments through teamwork. Attends departmental and all-staff Free Clinic meetings. Provides assistance with
volunteer management program. Contributes to departmental organizational decision-making through active
participation. Works effectively and positively with co-workers and volunteers. Other duties, as assigned.
