Overall Responsibility Responsible to and functions under the direction of the Executive Director. III Accountability Accountable to the Executive Director. IV Responsibilities A. Pursues potential funding sources and researches availability of foundations/grants for possible submission of grant applications. B Assists in grant preparation to maintain clinic funding; including writing, targeting, meeting deadlines for submission and collaborates with the Executive Director and other staff on grant application preparation and submission. C. Oversees fund-raising activities/events for CLINIC NAME, including: annual fund- raiser(s), other local fund-raising activities designed to enhance local community awareness, support, and growth. D. Collaborates with Fiscal Coordinator to maintain an up-to-date data base of clinic financial supporters, including levels of support of individuals, organizations and corporations, fund-raiser supporters and attendees, volunteers, drug representatives and others. D. Over-sees the preparation and assures timeless of Health Right quarterly Newsletter. Works with others to assure this is completed accurately and efficiently. E. Works with Executive Director and other staff on grant reporting requirements, invoicing and submissions as necessary for grant continuation. F. Assists in volunteer recognition, supportive and recruitment for programs and services offered by the clinic. G. Keeps Executive Director informed of matters impacting grant funding, fundraising and related activities that impact the ability to efficiently and effectively carry out the mission of CLINIC NAME. H. Other duties as assigned by Executive Director. V. Skills and knowledge Required A. Knowledge of grant writing and fund-raising. B. Working knowledge of computer software programs and their application. C. Skills in interpersonal, community and group relations D. Ability to exercise sound leadership and judgment. E. Ability to collaborate with other management level personnel to assure the efficient functioning of the clinic. VI Education and experience: Bachelors degree required, masters degree preferred. Experience in grant writing, researching potential sources of grant funds and timely submission of grants. Must maintain good organizational skills. Fundraising experience required. Working knowledge of computer software programs for necessary job performance.
