Julie Bilodeau - Ms. Julie Bilodeau has been with CrossOver since 2003. CrossOver's accomplishments during her tenure include opening a second clinical location, launching a community pharmacy, implementing an EHR, level 3 PCMH recognition and transitioning to a hybrid clinic. Ms. Bilodeau holds a BA from the College of William and Mary and a MBA from the University of Virginia. She is a graduate of Leadership Metro Richmond, and has been honored with the Stettinius Award for NonProfit Leadership and as the YWCA of Richmond's Outstanding Woman for NonProfit Leadership. She is a member of the Rotary Club of West Henrico and the Board of Directors of Henrico Doctors Hospital.
Stephanie Brady - Stephanie Brady is the Executive Director at the Community Clinic of Southwest Missouri in Joplin. Stephanie is a founding board member of the National Disaster Leadership Team and is regularly deployed as a volunteer to assist communities experiencing disasters. Stephanie presents at many local, state and national conferences. She also provides grant writing and board development training for nonprofit organizations throughout the state while also providing disaster training nationwide.
James Comerci - Dr. James L. Comerci is a Family Practice Physician who also administers the Family Practice Residency Program at Wheeling Hospital. He has been the Volunteer Medical Director of Wheeling Health Right for over 28 years and has a true passion for serving the uninsured and underinsured.
Lauryn Conroy - Lauryn Conroy, a Board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, has been a full-time APRN for Malta House of Care since April 2017. In addition to providing general primary care to Malta's uninsured adults, she also manages special grant-funded programs at the Clinic, including the Hypertension project funded by CVS and a Health Coaching program funded by Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals.
Mark Cruise - Mark Cruise has been a leader, builder, and trusted advisor in the free/charitable healthcare sector for 24 years. His company Governance4Good equips nonprofits across the U.S. to excel in governance, leadership, and accountability at all stages of their life cycle. Mark has served as Executive Director of the Florida Association of Free and Charitable Clinics and the Virginia Association of Free and Charitable Clinics. In addition, Governance4Good and Mark’s previous company Free Clinic Solutions have provided training, facilitation, consultation and coaching to more than 120 nonprofits across the U.S., including dozens of free/charitable clinics, state associations, and national partners.
Johanna Cuellar - Johanna Cuellar is the Manager of the Health Education & Social Services Departments. Over the last eight years, she has overseen the growth and development of all of the health education programs and screenings at Caridad Center that reach 15,000 people out in the community each year. Johanna oversees the patient care case management team, the social services department as well as over 100 of Caridad Center's Community Health Workers. With years of experience and by collaborating with community partners such as Palm Beach County School District, State Department as DOH, Office of Minority Health and most recently University of Miami Department of Public Health Sciences, she is now implementing one of the best evidence-based programs to address social determinates of health in all areas in her department.
Rusty Curington - Dr. Rusty Curington, PharmD, BC-ADM is the Assistant Director of Pharmacy for St. Vincent de Paul Charitable Pharmacy and clinical pharmacist for Good Samaritan Free Health Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. He received his doctorate of pharmacy degree and residency training from the University of Cincinnati College of Pharmacy where he serves as Adjunct Assistant Professor of Clinical Pharmacy. At the Charitable Pharmacy, Dr. Curington manages daily operations, data collection, and program development. In the past five years, Dr. Curington has written over 30 approved grants valued over $850,000.
Julie Darnell - Julie S. Darnell, PhD, MHSA, joined the Department of Public Health Sciences, Stritch School of Medicine, Loyola University Chicago as Associate Professor in December 2015. Previously, she was on the faculty of the School of Public Health at the University of Illinois at Chicago where she served as Assistant Professor (2008-2015) and Associate Professor with tenure (2015). Dr. Darnell received her AM (2003) and PhD (2008) in Social Service Administration from The University of Chicago as well as a Master of Health Services Administration degree in health policy (1994) from The George Washington University. Her research focuses on access to, and the delivery and financing of, health care for poor and vulnerable populations and the safety net organizations that serve them. With the support of Americares, she is currently leading an evaluation of two evidence-based chronic disease interventions in free clinics. She is also conducting a national survey of all known free and charitable clinics across the country. She has earned a national reputation for her work on free clinics. Findings from her research on free clinics have been published in the Archives of Internal Medicine and Medical Care and in a report to the U.S. Congress. Her work on free clinics has received numerous awards and recognition from organizations including the Society for Social Work and Research, the National Association of Social Workers Foundation, the Association for Research on Nonprofit Organizations and Voluntary Action, the American Public Health Association, and the Public Health System Research Interest Group of AcademyHealth
Rebecca Edgeworth - Dr. Rebecca Edgeworth has been with VMSN since October 2011, first as a volunteer and then as medical director for the last 7 years. She attended undergraduate college in Florida and received her Medical Degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine. She completed her Internal Medicine residency with the University of Nevada School of Medicine at UMC. Dr. Edgeworth has been involved in community volunteerism for a number of years with the Medical Reserve Corps, American Lung Association and other community health groups. Educational affiliations include clinical instructor and professor with Michael O’Callahan Family Practice residency, University of Nevada Las Vegas School of Medicine, and Touro University, Nevada.
Suzie Foley - Suzie Foley, BS has been the Executive Director of the Greenville Free Medical Clinic since 1999. She sat on the NAFC Board of Directors from 2009-2017 and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the South Carolina Free Clinic Association.
Rhonda Francis - Rhonda has been with WV Health Right since 1999. She has worked as a Pharmacy Technician, the Pharmacy Coordinator and now in the role of Clinical Coordinator for the clinic. She oversees clinical operations and is the liaison for all volunteer providers. She plays a key role in the clinic's mobile dental and harm reduction programs and is involved in the day-to-day operations of both programs.
Stephanie Garris - Stephanie Garris has a lengthy career in civic activism and community service. Prior to working at Grace, she served as Executive Director for the American Cancer Society in Central Florida and held several positions in the federal legislative arena in Washington, D.C., including the American Hospital Association and the American Medical Association. She attended the University of Florida and the American University Washington College of Law. Stephanie is very active in the Florida Association of Free and Charitable Clinics where she is a founding Board Member and Public Policy Chair. She also serves as Vice Chair of the Board of the NAFCC.
Espy Gonzalez - Espy Gonzalez has a degree in psychology and a Masters in Organizational & Administrative Management. In addition to being a part-time case manager at Westminster Free Clinic for the past 19 years, she has worked for the Ventura County Human Services Agency in social services for challenged populations the past 27 years. Currently, she is manager of homeless services and housing. She trains her staff and our WFC team in being trauma informed to improve their interactions and sensitivity with clients. She also shares the research available on how trauma impacts client health and how we can help as providers.
Ariana Gordillo - Ariana Gordillo joined the National Association of Free & Charitable Clinics (NAFC) in 2011 and is the Director of Strategic Initiatives. In this position, Ariana works daily with Free & Charitable Clinics and Charitable Pharmacies, volunteers and partners. Her responsibilities include member relations, volunteer activation and aid, partner relations, grant program management, community outreach and committee support. She holds a Master of Arts Degree in Latin American & Hemispheric Studies from the George Washington University, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in International Studies from the American University in Washington, D.C. Ariana is a native of Lima, Peru and currently resides in Alexandria, Virginia.
Sally Graham - Sally Graham founded and has served as ED of GoochlandCares for the past 18 years. She guided the organization through a merger with a social service nonprofit and fostered the organization’s growth from part-time clinic to a full spectrum basic human needs provider focusing on health, housing, and hunger, thus expanding their definition of healthcare. Her previous experience working in safety net settings as a nurse practitioner provides a strong basis for her innovative approach to free clinic work. Sally graduated from UVA, received her master’s degree from University of Rochester, and NP postmasters from University of Colorado.
Holly Hayes - Holly Hayes is founder and President of Iron Sharpens Iron Consulting Group. Holly has served as an evaluator and implementation coach for several organizational, local and state-wide population health initiatives.
Paula Hill - Dr. Paula E. S. Hill is a native of Southwestern Virginia. She has over 20 years’ experience as a primary care provider to rural health and vulnerable populations in Central Appalachia. For the past 10 years, she has served as the Clinical Director for the Health Wagon which is a free mobile clinic that began out of the back of Sr. Bernie’s Volkswagen Beetle as she travelled up and down the mountains giving free care. She holds dual certification as family practice NP and PNP.
Kat Holman Mastrangelo - Executive Director, Volunteers in Medicine, Clinic of the Cascades (Bend, OR) – Kat has served as the Executive Director of the VIM-Cascades Clinic since 2008. Prior to that she worked in physician practice management, hospital strategic planning, as a budget analyst in local government, as a health policy analyst for Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield and as a field intern for Africare in Dakar, Senegal (West Africa). She received her Bachelors in Foreign Service from Georgetown University, Washington, DC and a Masters in Public Administration from Indiana University, Bloomington, IN.
Donney John - Dr. Donney John, PharmD is the Executive Director of NOVA ScriptsCentral a non-profit pharmacy that provides life saving medications to uninsured patients in the Northern Virginia area. He is a practicing pharmacist, healthcare consultant, entrepreneur and patient advocate. Dr. John has considerable expertise in the areas of precision medicine, patient engagement, population health management, transition in care and mobile health technology solutions. He serves as a medical advisor for a variety of companies focused on health/wellness, patient engagement and medication adherence. Dr. John currently serves as the national Co-Chair for the Kaiser Permanente Research Bank National Community Advisory Board.
Brian W. Jones - Brian Jones, DHSc, MS, serves as the President/CEO of the SHARE Foundation, a non-profit operating foundation, in South Arkansas. Brian holds a doctorate in Health Sciences from A.T. Still University. He teaches part-time in the public health department at Southern Arkansas University and in both the Doctor of Behavioral Health and Healthcare MBA Programs at Freed-Hardeman University. He currently serves on the Arkansas Governor’s Council on Aging, as an El Dorado Parks and Playground Commissioner, the Arkansas Public Health Association Executive Committee, a national board member of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization, and as Vice-President of the El Dorado Rotary Club. He has authored or co-authored ten peer reviewed journal articles and has spoken at conferences on aging, palliative care, chronic disease, leadership, and post-acute care throughout the United States. He and his wife Kasey have been married for 26 years and have two sons, one a junior in high school and one a sophomore in college.
Jezabel Maisonet - Jezabel Maisonet, BSN, RN, Caridad Center Clinic Director, received her BSN from the University of Puerto Rico. She is a Master Trainer for the Diabetes & Chronic Disease Self-Management programs. She has experience in Quality Assurance, Joint Commission certification, and operations management. She built the Health Education Department at Caridad Center and is now the Clinic Director. She has overseen development of chronic disease management programs, Healthy Family Lifestyle modification programs, and all health education efforts at Caridad Center. In 2006, she created the first program to use community health workers in Palm Beach County to promote awareness of chronic diseases, obesity prevention, and diabetes management to undeserved county residents.
Amanda Missey - Amanda Missey has 30+ years of program development, fundraising and administrative experience in the not-for-profit sector. In 2014, following an 18-year career at the Bergen Volunteer Center, she became the President/CEO of Bergen Volunteer Medical Initiative, a nonprofit healthcare center that provides free primary care to low-income, working adults. Ms. Missey is an experienced speaker and trainer on a number of topics including fundraising, leadership and board service. She is a LeadNJ 2006 Fellow and past-president of the Hackensack YMCA and Hackensack Rotary Club. She serves on the board of the Meadowlands Chamber and the Bergen County Workforce Development Board.
Michelle Murphy - A journalist by temperament and training, Michelle Murphy became the Executive Director of the Malta House of Care Foundation in January 2017. As the chief fundraiser, networker, and cheerleader for the Malta mobile clinic, she finds herself using her communications background every day as she tells the Malta "story" to potential medical volunteers, partners, funders, and individual donors.
Jamie Newman - Dr. Jamie Newman earned her PhD in Biology at MIT. Dr. Newman is a Assistant Professor in the School of Biological Sciences at Louisiana Tech University where she teaches undergraduate and graduate courses and runs an active research lab where she and her students study adult stem cell biology. Dr. Newman participates in the described partnership as the science faculty member in an interdisciplinary program that engages students in science and art curriculum and offers them internship opportunities with local health care partners. These internships offer real world experience and allow the students to use their skills and interests to have a direct impact on their community.
Steve Noblett - Steve has been the Executive Director of CCHF since 2007. He has been involved in church planting and Christian leadership development in the U.S., the U.K., southern and central Africa, India, and Central America. In 1993 he founded City Builders Youth Organization, a youth-based Christian community development organization in urban Memphis. "There is no great field of need or opportunity than among the underserved. Christian healthcare to the poor is a major key in helping the church to break out of its bubble and reconnect the world with the message of Christ and His Kingdom." In addition to his work with CCHF, Steve and his wife, Victoria, continue to work with urban youth in a under-resourced area of Memphis. They have two grown daughters and a foster-son, all of whom love Jesus, and are committed to serving Christ by serving others.
Lindsay O’Brien - Lindsay O’Brien drives the strategic direction for the U.S. Program at Americares. Programs under Lindsay’s direction include initiatives focused on national patient measures, quality improvement, diabetes prevention, healthy food integration, mental and behavioral health, oral health and access to medications. Before joining Americares, Lindsay worked in domestic micro finance at New York based-Community Capital and SEEDCO. Lindsay holds her Master's in Public Administration from New York University, a certificate in Leadership Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and is a certified Adult and Youth Mental Health First Aid Instructor. She is a graduate of Amherst College.

Tabitha Pederson - Tabitha Pederson spent the last 3.5 years implementing, evaluating, and expanding the Social and Behavioral Health Intervention Services department at Volunteers in Medicine of Southern Nevada (VMSN), an integrated health care facility for the uninsured. Tabitha has Master’s degree in Social Services Administration - Clinical Practice from University of Chicago and Bachelor’s degree from Northwestern College where she studied Business Marketing and Management. She spent the last 10 years working in agencies providing various social and behavioral health services for people living with chronic illnesses. Tabitha understands the impact integrated healthcare has on those in need and is excited about being a part of VMSN's mission every day.

Mike Romagnoli - Mike Romagnoli is the Executive Director of the Community Health Care Clinic in Normal, Illinois. Mike earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in political science, anthropology and Spanish from Ripon College in Ripon, Wisconsin, and a Master of Arts in Spanish from Illinois State University in Normal. His time at the Clinic began 14 years ago as a volunteer Spanish interpreter. Since then he has worked in nearly every staff position within the Clinic, most recently Operations Manager. Mike lives in Heyworth with his wife and two dogs. When he’s not at the Clinic Mike enjoys hunting, fishing, cooking and traveling.
Angie Settle - Dr. Angie Settle, DNP, APRN, BC, FNP, is the CEO of WV Health Right, the state's oldest and largest free and charitable clinic that cares for 27,500 patients with medical, dental, specialty, pharmaceutical, behavioral health, substance use disorder care, on-site and mobile harm reduction services, health education, vision and mobile dental services. She holds a B.S. in Nursing, a Master's in Nursing (FNP) and a Doctorate in Nursing Practice. Angie has been with the clinic for 22 years and continues to provide care monthly to those in need in addition to her role of CEO. She is the recipient of NAFC's RWJF Health Equity award for 2018.
Jennifer Snow - Jennifer Snow, MBA, provides system-wide strategy, development and program management around community health. Improving the health of the communities served by Prisma Health throughout South Carolina by developing the relationships necessary to create innovative care delivery models in the neighborhoods our patients reside.
Jeannie Shapiro - Since arriving in 1998, Jeannie Shapiro has built Clearwater Free Clinic into one of the premier nonprofit organizations in all of Florida. She has expanded the volunteer base, introduced new programs, increased patient volume, initiated community partnerships, expanded the donor base, and recently completed a capital campaign resulting in the acquisition and renovation of a state-of-the-art 11,000 sq. ft. building. Last year Clearwater Free Clinic provided $6.2 million of health care on a budget of $1.7 million. Jeannie is a founding board member of both the Florida Association of Free and Charitable Clinics and the Community Dental Clinic in Clearwater.
Jill Temple - Jill Temple, MBA, has worked for SHARE Foundation, a not-for-profit, health-centered Foundation for the past 15 years. She started with SHARE in 2004 in the Public Relations Department, was promoted to Administrative Manager of Life Touch Hospice, and currently serves as the Executive Director of Interfaith Clinic. Interfaith provides medical care, pharmacy services, insurance literacy, and education to low-income patients. Jill and her staff have implemented a quality improvement program, simple methods for gathering and tracking patient satisfaction data, and transitioned from a free clinic to a hybrid clinic model in response to the Affordable Care Act. She serves on the Arkansas Association of Charitable Clinics Board, local Chamber of Commerce Board, and was involved in the Roadmap to Health Equity initiative.
Teresa Tyson - Dr. Tyson is a Family Nurse Practitioner, who maintains a clinical practice, called the Health Wagon, which cares for the uninsured in the rural Appalachia Mountains of Virginia. The Health Wagon is a free nurse managed health clinic consisting of two stationary and two mobile clinics. As Executive Director of the Health Wagon, Dr. Tyson leads a $1.6 million non-profit that serves some of the nation’s poorest individuals. As Southwest Virginia’s only dedicated safety net clinic, she leads her clinic in promoting the mission of providing quality, affordable, accessible care to all with an emphasis on serving the underserved.
Craig Wilcox - Dr. Craig Wilcox is a retired dentist in Wheeling WV who is very committed to provide much needed dental care to the underserved as this has long been a need. He ran a private practice for many years before retiring and offering his volunteer services to Wheeling Health Right to coordinate the services of dental students, oral surgery residents and prosthodontics residents from WVU School of Dentistry.
Mary Wirshup - Dr. Mary Wirshup has served as Vice-President for Medical Affairs at CVIM since 2001. Previously, she worked in a private family practice for 16.5 years. She received her medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School and completed her medical residency at Lancaster General Hospital. She is Board Certified in Family Medicine and became a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians in 2007. In 2013 she was recognized with the national Pride in the Profession Award from the American Medical Association Foundation. In 2018 she was recognized as a Healthcare Heroes through Main Line Today magazine.
Susan Witkowski - Susan Witkowski is the founder and CEO of the Community Medical Clinic of Kershaw County. The clinic has been operating for twenty years in Kershaw County, SC and has expanded to include remote satellite sites. Susan serves on numerous community and state boards and is passionate about the importance of addressing social determinants of health and advancing population health.
Jackie White - Dr. Jackie White has practiced Emergency Medicine in North Louisiana for 18 years, and has been serving as Medical Director at The Health Hut for the past 3 1/2 years. The Health Hut is a non-profit clinic that was started in 2011 to serve the uninsured of Lincoln Parish. Realizing that many of the patients in the local ED need the Health Hut, she started collaborating with the hospital and ED and directing them to a place they can get the proper healthcare. More recently they have partnered with Louisiana Tech to assist students helping to educate their patients about their illnesses.
Martin Zanin - Martin Zanin holds a BA in Political Science from Virginia Commonwealth University and an MS in Foreign Service from Georgetown University. Prior to joining CrossOver, Martin was the Director of Latin American Programs at Americares, a role in which he collaborated with non-governmental organizations to distribute more than $100 million of medical aid annually and adopt data analysis tools to improve donation targeting and evaluate project outcomes. As CrossOver’s Outcomes Data Analyst, Martin develops patient outcomes frameworks, assesses service access and efficiency and oversees the design and implementation of patient needs assessments and satisfaction surveys.
